Greetings to all NetWIT members
Spring is in full force and summer is just around the corner. This is the time of year where our thoughts go to planning our part of GNR. This year’s GNR - Treasure Island - will be held July 15 thru July 20, 2012. Let’s not forget the fun packed Pre-Rally which will be July 8th thru July 14th. It seems each year more and more people arrive during the Pre-Rally week just so they don’t miss any of the pre-rally activities. You may want to consider it this year. It is always great fun.
We are busy putting together our GNR NetWIT seminar line-up and will be letting you know what we come up with soon. We always have good teachers and interesting topics.
WIT Website Contest
The NetWIT Club will again be judging the WIT Chapter and Club Website contest this year. We are looking for volunteers to help with this judging. All WIT Clubs and Chapters are invited to submit their Website to the WIT office by May 1st. As a volunteer you will receive a listing of all website entries by email along with a spreadsheet for you to rank each website based on certain criteria. After you have completed your judging, you simply email your results for us to tally. The winners will be announced at GNR.

NetWIT Row Parking
The NetWIT parking row will be in the same location as in the past few years – Row 11, in Section “B”, on the WIT Boulevard –across from the Lichtsinn Motors display and near Friendship Hall. If you are not connected with a state row, we encourage you to sign up to park in the NetWIT row. It is a great location and we would like you to join us.
Annual Pizza Party
The NetWIT Club will again host our annual pre-rally pizza party on Thursday, July 12th. It will be held under the Lichtsinn Motors tent on WIT Boulevard across from the NetWIT parking row. This is a great way to meet your fellow NetWIT members. We will gather around 4pm, and order pizza shortly after, so we can eat about 5pm. We will furnish the table service, water, wine, and iced tea. Please bring your own lawn chair. There will be a nominal charge of $3.00 per person and we will be selling advanced tickets at the NetWIT parking row prior to this event.
Please consider coming. It is always a good time.
Annual Meeting and Potluck
We have increased attendance at the pizza party but falling attendance at our annual meeting and potluck dinner becasue of all the conflicts during rally week. So, we have decided to have just one meeting. Our Annual Meeting will now be held at the pizza party on Thursday, July 12th at 4pm during pre-rally week.
We are looking forward to seeing all of you at GNR 2012. Please stop by the NetWIT row to say “Hi”.
